INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE INSTALLATION OF THE BRAKE CALIPERS

  • Installation MUST always be carried out by a qualified technician, following the vehicle manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Do not operate the handbrake or brake pedal before installation is complete.
  • If the vehicle is equipped with an electronic parking brake (EPB), connect the diagnostic unit and follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
  • After completing the installation of the calipers, perform the actuator calibration procedures, always using the diagnostic tool.
  • For REAR CALIPERS ensure that the space between the pads and the brake disc is max 1 mm per side.
  • If the gap exceeds 2 mm total, adjust the piston.
  • Replace discs and pads if necessary.
  • Perform a braking test on a test bench and on the road to verify correct operation.

WARNING: The returned housing must be intact.
It may happen that one side of the caliper comes into contact with the brake disc as a result of complete pad wear, causing material wear as shown in the photo.
