Techinical Info

The AdBlue tank  with the OE code 9827948380, è fitted on numerous models of the Stellantis Group, particularly on ex-PSA vehicles equipped with diesel engines 1.5 and 1.6 BlueHDi of the series DV5RD, DV5RCD and D15DT.

This component è an integral part of the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and is responsible for containing and distributing the additive AdBlue (technical urea) for the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) in exhaust gases.

Typical defects

Level sensor failure

One of the most common faultsù frequent è related to level sensor integrated into the tank, which canòalso:

  • Signal incorrectly a low or null level
  • Cause the’engine warning light to turn on
  • Prevent l’vehicle start-up, even with AdBlue present
