Techinical Info
The cerium tank with OE code 9817154080 è a fundamental component of the exhaust gas after-treatment system in diesel vehicles of the PSA group (Peugeot, Citroën) and Opel. This tank è is used to contain and dose the’cerium additive (Eolys or DPF additive) that is injected into the exhaust system to facilitate the regeneration of the particulate filter (FAP or DPF).
The tank integrates:

Operation
The tank contains a cerium-based fluid that is precisely dosed into the fuel tank or directly into the exhaust system, depending on the vehicle generation. The dosing è is controlled by the engine control unit based on the kilometers traveled and the regenerations of the particulate filter.
